Freddie & Dennis at Appleton Farms ..a peek

These past few months feel like a whirlwind and I have utterly neglected by blog.  To all my peeps, I am so sorry and I promise, promise, promise that I have a lot of goodies to post and will continue to do so going forward!

This past weekend Maarit and hung out with Freddie and Dennis at Appleton Farms in Ipswich or Hamilton or Rowley.  It sort of spans a few towns…The sky was overcast and the light was so perfect, and there were baby cows!  This is just a peek because there are so many more fabulous photos to post!  These two guys are awesome, we can’t wait for their wedding this August in Beverly, at the Lynch Park Rose Garden.

And like I said, stay tuned because this is just a sneak peek.  I also shot some medium format and 35mm film, so I can’t wait to get the prints and scans back!

Retestwine - Hi Jenny. I have a question about insdie window dust board installation. So I need the angle brackets? Am I drilling from underneath the completed roman shade into the headers of the window through the dust board and brackets (if brackets are needed)? Thanks again. I am just confused because the above the window mount seems to be different.Kristin

Beantown Bride Blog Feature!

I am super excited to tell you that Beantown Bride Blog featured one of my weddings a few weeks ago.  You might remember this couple’s Boston Public Gardens wedding last summer…absolutely awesome stuff, so thanks to Beantown Bride for featuring a same-sex wedding on their blog!

If you are a Boston bride looking for inspiration and wedding planning resources, check out their blog.  I think it is the only local wedding planning blog for the Boston area…but don’t quote me on that, because I am sure I could be wrong since there are new wedding blogs popping up daily!

Non - Ginny T. – Rebecca surely is taletned! We, of the marketing department, love her!! How one manages to capture the most wonderful moments in a snap, I’ll never know! I’m sure this photo session was a blast! These three are quite special and so fun! What great photos

Stereophonic Love – no. 2

Remember back in October when I had that great idea about posting the music I was digging?  Probably not, since it was so long ago and I didn’t follow-up with another posting….until now!  Five songs that are in rotation on my ipod, here you have it:

Pumped Up Kicks – Foster the People – Super catchy, Maarit and I are walking around singing this one all the time!

Rolling in the Deep – Adele – Our first dance song at our wedding was an Adele cover of Make You Feel My Love, we are big fans and going to see her at the House of Blues in May.  We are rockin’ to this new song, love her!

99 Problems – Hugo – I know, there are so many covers and it gets a little stale after awhile, but this one is great!  I love the guitar pickin’ twang and the whole bluegrass feel, well, I guess that’s how I would describe it, check it out for yourself….

Under the Cover of Darkness – The Strokes - Uhm yes, new Strokes album and it rocks, nuff said!

Not In Love – Crystal Castles with Robert Smith – I was a huge fan of the Cure in my younger days, along with Morrissey and The Smiths and more recently a fan of Crystal Castles, and well, this is a great collabo.  WFNX can play this song forever and I will be happy!

Adding a sixth song here because I can’t get enough of The Gaslight Anthem – OMG, love them and digging The ’59 Sound among MANY others!

And no post is complete without something to look at, so here is our little labradoodle Sofie, not as little anymore!  That’s Maarit holding Sofie’s leash….everyone is bundled up for a walk at the beach in Nahant.  I am definitely excited about warmer weather…

San Antonio auto insurance - I wanted to draft you the very little remark to help give thanks as before over the nice things you’ve provided on this website. This is quite particularly generous with you in giving unreservedly all many individuals would’ve sold for an e book to help with making some profit on their own, and in particular given that you could possibly have tried it if you ever wanted. These points likewise worked like a easy way to know that other people online have the same dream just as mine to learn a good deal more in regard to this condition. I am sure there are millions of more pleasurable instances ahead for people who discover your blog post.

Lili & Kevin’s Wedding Studio Shoot

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of welcoming Lili and Kevin to our loft for a photo session. We had met at the Baystate Bridal Expo where they asked if I did studio shoots and I said, heck yes!  I was pretty psyched about this little wedding shoot because I knew that they wanted something fun with a little bit of vintage twang to it…and it’s not often that I get to shoot brides and grooms in a controlled studio setting!

Lili actually designed her own wedding dress! You read that correctly….she designed it, purchased the materials and commissioned Alterations by Melonie in New Haven, CT to create her vision. And Lili actually did all the beading you see in that bit of bling on the dress herself! Maarit and I were super impressed, isn’t it awesome?!?!

Geetha – Nashoba Valley Winery Wedding Photographer

A few months ago Maarit and I headed out to Nashoba Valley Winery with our puppy Sofie (she is not a puppy these days!) and some friends…wow, that was the fall!  We love the winery, it’s a fun place to bring a picnic, hang out with friends, and have some wine, and even beer and hard liquor.  Those are all things we definitely love, minus the hard liquor part…

Our awesome friend Geetha asked if I could take a few photos of her!  She cracks me up, mostly because she is always laughing and goofing off and here I was trying to get various shots of her because I wanted to capture every aspect of her personality…not just the cracking up part!

We worked our way from the cracking up Geetha to the relaxed Geetha.  And this order below is the exact order in which the photos were shot….

Everything about her is super awesome.  GO GEETHA!

Vadinho - - Yep! You might offer both mini sssieons and full sssieons so you have two price points since everyone’s pocket depth differs! Totally awesome and unique gift versus onsies and bottle cleaners etc. LOLMarch 9, 2011 1:12 pm

Alianna - - Sarah,Been bringing my coatnx aria along to shoot a roll alongside of my digital (nikon). My mistake is not having a pro like Richard Photo lab develop and scan. thanks for the advice. But even so, I still do very little to my images and love them because I took an extra breath before clicking the shutter or an extra moment composing.Any suggestions for NY lab? I’m in Boston. Are you medium format here? Can’t wait to dig into your other images. REally fresh and uplifting!

Sahil - kasandra – thanks for snraihg cant wait to see more!I’d love to hear your workflow with film such as, do you get digital negatives from your lab, do you edit (photoshop or Lightroom), or do you let the lab make adjustments? I have my first roll of color film sitting in my Nikon f100 and I’m not sure how to process it I know I’m making it harder than it really is thanks kas
